Arrive 30 minutes prior to audition.
Bring one full figure  photo in ballet attire in these positions: first arabesque or developpe a la seconde.

If you cannot audition in person, please submit a DVD lasting 10 minutes minimum and not exceeding 15 minutes. DVD audition fee: $30.

DVD Audition

  • Exercices at the barre ( one side only )
  • Demi and grand plies
  • Tendus & jetes combined
  • Rond de jambe a terre combined with ronds de jambe en l’air.
  • Grand developpes in all positions
  • Grand battements in all positions

Center

  • Adagio showing developpe a la seconde and first arabesque
  • Tendus with pirouettes
  • A diagonal with turns ( varied )
  • Allegro combination
  • One big jumps combination on 32 counts
  • A pointe combination for girls

Upon viewing the DVD, we shall inform you of your acceptance to BBC and whether you may be the recipient of a partial tuition scholarship, granted only to 15 years and older.
